What was your primary motivation for joining the cannabis field?
I don’t know if it was a decision or not. It’s what I started doing as a young adult and has continued to evolve over the years. Now as we move into a new regulated market, I feel adamant about preserving the culture that helped form this community.
Why did you choose the Ganjier Certification Program?
Curiosity and networking. I wanted to expand my knowledge base and learning from a group of lifelong cannabis advocates just made sense. Also, connecting with other like-minded people who were passionate about the flower.
What did you expect going into this course?
To be honest, I didn’t have much if any expectations. I just thought it would be a good opportunity to learn and connect with other professionals.
What did you find?
A community of passionate cannabis people with an appetite to learn, connect, and share their knowledge.
Were there any game-changing “A-ha” moments for you during the course?
I really enjoyed Frenchy’s courses. Learned a lot about the trichome head and how that ripens.
What impact did the Ganjier training have on your cannabis career/future?
The connections I’ve made have made a huge impact on my work. This industry is small and tight knit, the hands-on time we got to spend with students and instructors really created a bond that has led to some long-lasting relationships.
To those considering the course what advice would you give?
Do it! Jump in! You will learn a lot and make some fantastic connections. Like they say, your network is your net worth.
